Interventional Pain Medicine Opportunity in No. California

Enloe Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible PM&R physician to join its hospital-based practice, with a strong focus on outpatient chronic pain management and procedure-based care.

Position Highlights

  • Based on MGMA Western region median: $400,000–$500,000+, with additional earning potential

• 100% outpatient chronic pain management—no opioid prescribing for outpatients
• No inpatient call required
• All overhead costs covered by the health system (hospital-employed position)
• Enloe’s Rehabilitation Center is a modern, fully equipped facility with 40 inpatient beds
• Staffing includes:
  • 4 PM&R providers (interventional pain, outpatient, and inpatient)
  • 1 Nurse Practitioner
  • Therapists, nurses, dietitians, and case managers
• Existing specialists perform a wide range of office and fluoroscopy-guided procedures:
  • Botox, EMGs, trigger point and joint injections
  • Epidural steroid injections (cervical/thoracic/lumbar), medial branch blocks
  • Radiofrequency ablations, neurostimulator trials, MILD, and more
  • Sedation support available (oral, conscious, and anesthesia)
• EMG skills (upper and lower extremities) desired
• No intrathecal pump management
• General inpatient rehab experience preferred but not required (stroke, brain injury, post-op ortho/spine, SCI, amputation, deconditioning)
• Advanced technology and equipment available to support comprehensive rehab services

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
• Fellowship trained in Pain Medicine (desired)
• CA Fluoroscopy license and operator’s permit (or eligible)
• Possess or be eligible for California Medical License
