Job Description
Carilion Clinic Breast Care Center is located on the outskirts of Roanoke's safe and vibrant Downtown area.
Historical averages of Tier 1 and Tier 2 bonus earnings are included in the maximum salary. In addition, comprehensive benefits and pension offerings further enhance the overall rewards package.
Carilion Clinic Breast Care Center is adding another Breast Imager to its comprehensive program of dedicated expertise in breast imaging, surgery, pathology and operations. A highly innovative practice environment exists, supported by one of the few programs worldwide with large format and three-dimensional correlative pathology. Position includes the opportunity to conduct original clinical research in a mutually supportive environment with core specialties, but not required. Other aspects of the Breast Care Center include:
Programmatic advances include high risk genetics program with dedicated genetics counselor, two interdisciplinary patient care conferences, and continuous evolution through a committed Breast Program Leadership Team. Comprehensive services provide prevention, early detection, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and research in collaboration with other departments within our flagship 763-bed teaching/tertiary medical center.
Dedicated Breast Imagers enjoy a schedule of no call, no nights, no weekends/holidays as well as generous time off. Competitive salary and excellent benefits, including relocation and paid malpractice.
