Exciting opportunity for a PM&R locums from mid-Nov to late Mar. This position is during the peak ski season at Lake Tahoe, allowing for a mix of work and vacation, espeically with 4 day work weeks.
- 4-day work week: Monday–Thursday, 7am–5pm
- Manageable volume: ~14 patients/day average
- Well-equipped clinic: ultrasound, PRP, and Tenex all onsite (x-ray offsite, no spine cases)
- Strong support team: another sports med physician on staff, plus 4 sports techs, 5 ATCs, and dedicated front desk/office support
- Diverse caseload: musculoskeletal care across all ages, plus high school concussion management
- Timing: covers the Tahoe ski season — a nice perk if you enjoy the outdoors
What they're looking for:
- Board certified or board eligible in PM&R (required)
- Comfortable with ultrasound-guided joint/soft tissue injections (steroid, viscosupplementation, PRP)
- Familiarity with concussion management
- Sports medicine fellowship preferred, but not required
- Active or eligible CA license, DEA, and controlled substance permit
- EPIC EMR experience is a plus
