Seeking Wound Care Physician in Kalispell, Montana

Seeking a certified or certification eligible physician to provide a multitude of wound services. The current wound program is a hybrid of outpatient and inpatient responsibilities, ranging from traumatic wounds(including minor burns), venous stasis wounds, diabetic foot ulcerations, arterial ulcerations, and postoperative complications. The current wound center also assists in management and education related to ostomy care.

The wound center employs a physician and a wound certified physician’s assistant. Clinical care is paramount and is enhanced by having a staff of registered nurses (total of 75 years of Wound experience shared between 8 RN's). The position is part of the strategic secession plan as the physician is nearing retirement.

The Flathead Valley of Northwest Montana, provides wound care for residents of the communities within an approximate 100-mile radius. Not only is the wound care population growing due to diabetes and age, but through migration of new residents to the area.

The local geography includes the beauty of Flathead Lake, the mountains, two downhill ski areas, and especially Glacier National Park. Physicians here get to practice high-quality care, while living in a vacation environment.
