El Camino Health Medical Network is seeking full time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Urgent Care practice in San Jose, Cupertino or Mountain View.
Position Details
- Urgent Care position
- Hours 10:30 a.m. – 8:30 p.m. (10 hours)
- EMR system: EPIC
- Resource-rich working environment
- Collaborate with talented team of on-site primary care clinicians and medical specialists
Qualifications
- Full laboratory, X-ray, ultrasound, and mammography on site
- Dedicated observation room and procedure room
- Physician Assistant/ Nurse Practitioner must be comfortable performing clinical procedures such as incision and drainage, laceration repairs, suturing, splinting, etc.
- Experience practicing in an Urgent Care or Emergency Hospital setting is preferred
- Flexibility with schedule, no in-basket management, and no overnight shifts
Requirements
- 6 months related clinical experience
- Physician Assistants must be comfortable performing clinical procedures such as incision & drainage, laceration repairs, suturing, splinting, etc.
- Experience practicing in an Urgent Care or Emergency Hospital setting is preferred
- Current California State NP or PA license
- Current Nurse Practitioner Furnishing Number (for Nurse Practitioners only)
- Must be NCCPA certified
- ACLS certification required. PALS certification is good to have
- Graduate from an accredited physician assistant program
- Must have an active California State Physician Assistant License by Physician Assistant Board under Medical Board of California
- Active DEA registration
