Qualifications

What You Bring

  • MD or DO from an accredited program
  • Completion of ACGME OB/GYN residency (or expected prior to start)
  • Board certified or board eligible in OB/GYN
  • Eligibility for Oregon licensure
  • DEA and hospital privileging eligibility
  • Malpractice insurability

Women's Healthcare Associates (WHA) is Oregon's largest independent, clinician-owned OB/GYN group. Our physicians, maternal-fetal medicine specialists, certified nurse-midwives and nurse practitioners care for women and people assigned female at birth at every stage of life across 12 clinic locations in the Portland metro area, with call and surgery at partner hospitals including Providence St. Vincent, Providence Willamette Falls and Legacy Meridian Park.

Because WHA is owned by the clinicians who care for patients, the people doing the work shape the organization. We offer full-scope OB/GYN practice without carve-outs — including pregnancy options counseling, abortion care and complex family planning, in a state with strong legal protections for patients and providers — along with in-house subspecialty support in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, maternal-fetal medicine through Northwest Perinatal Center, urogynecology and gynecology through Northwest Gynecology Center, and perinatal mental health.
