Santiam Hospital

Santiam Hospital & Clinics is one of Oregon's leading community-based, independent, not-for-profit health systems. From our 16-acre campus in Stayton, in the foothills of the Cascades, our 40-bed acute care hospital and network of clinics serve more than 40,000 patients a year across the North Santiam Canyon and the mid-Willamette Valley — a mission that began in 1950, when local community leaders came together to build a hospital close to home.

Our system includes a Level IV trauma emergency department open 24/7, an ICU, the Santiam Family Birth Center, the Santiam Surgery Center and clinics in family medicine, internal medicine, cardiology, general surgery, orthopedics, pulmonology and sleep medicine, women's health and podiatry — several of them Rural Health designated, Joint Commission–accredited patient-centered medical homes. Santiam has been named a 5-star hospital and voted the area's Best Hospital, Best Place to Have a Baby and Best Local Surgery Center.

Clinicians at Santiam practice in a physician-led, collaborative culture with real professional autonomy, a strong on-site specialty team and the personal, connected feel of a close-knit community. Enjoy the best of Oregon — snow-capped mountains, rivers and forests, coastal beaches, wineries and the vibrant Willamette Valley — all within easy reach, along with competitive pay, comprehensive benefits and opportunities to grow.
