The Medical College of Wisconsin's Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences is seeking an academically oriented board certified/eligible Comprehensive Ophthalmologist to join our expanding team. This position will be primarily located at the Eye Institute, Milwaukee, WI (Froedtert Hospital Campus) with potential days per week at satellite clinics. We are comprised of nationally and internationally renowned, dedicated group of faculty and staff with a strong commitment to clinical care.

Schedule:

  • Full-time faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level.
  • Provide coverage during core business hours with some flexibility required, as necessary, to accommodate business needs.

  • Commitment to Education: Faculty actively teach across medical, graduate, and postdoctoral programs, offering a four-year ophthalmology residency and fellowships in vitreoretinal diseases and surgery, orbital and oculoplastic surgery, and pediatric ophthalmology.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a licensed MD or equivalent.
  • Candidates must be board Certified/Eligible by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
  • Be eligible for medical licensure in Wisconsin.
  • An interest in clinical or basic science research is desirable and could be supported.
