Queen's Health System

The Queen's Health Systems is Hawai'i's leading not-for-profit health care system. Queen's began with a single hospital in 1859, founded by Queen Emma and King Kamehameha IV to provide health care and healing to the people of Hawai'i — a mission it carries forward today with a special commitment to improving the health of Native Hawaiians and all of the people of Hawai'i.

Today Queen's includes The Queen's Medical Center in Honolulu, The Queen's Medical Center - West O'ahu, The Queen's Medical Center - Wahiawa, The Queen's Medical Center - Kahi Mohala (behavioral health), Queen's North Hawai'i Community Hospital on Hawai'i Island and Molokai General Hospital, along with more than 70 health care centers, primary care clinics and Queen's Island Urgent Care locations across the islands. The Queen's Medical Center is the state's major referral center for cancer, cardiovascular disease, neuroscience, orthopedics, surgery, emergency medicine and behavioral health, and is a major teaching hospital.

More than 8,000 employees and over 1,400 physicians make up the Queen's 'ohana. Physicians and advanced practice providers join a collaborative team that listens to and learns from one another so patients benefit and communities thrive. Queen's offers comprehensive benefits, professional development and, for providers relocating from the mainland, relocation assistance that may include a relocation allowance and temporary housing.

Practicing at Queen's means building a career — and a life — in Hawai'i: ocean, mountains and trails at your doorstep, a rich multicultural community, and the chance to make a lasting difference in the health of the islands.
