Pulmonology & Sleep Disorder Clinic Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) | 1.0 FTE (Renton, WA)
Valley Medical Center (VMC) is actively recruiting a full-time (1.0 FTE) Pulmonary/Sleep Disorder APP to join our established, collaborative, and collegial team of providers. This position will be providing both inpatient care with our pulmonary consult service and CCU, and also outpatient care in our busy pulmonary and sleep clinic. Our approach to patient-centered care is team-based.
About the position:
· Clinic Hours: 8a-5p M-F
· General Schedule1 Week in Hospital alternating with 3 weeks in Clinic
· No call, no nights, no weekends
· Inpatient duties includes Pulmonary consults and occasional coverage in 30-bed mixed med/surg ICU
· Average # of patients seen per day in Pulmonary-Sleep clinic: 15-16
· Support Staff includes: 7 MAs, 3 PAAs, 2 procedure coordinators
· Providers: 7 MDs (2 Pulmonary, 5 Pulmonary/Sleep), 3 APPs
Qualifications:
· Ability to obtain medical professional license in the State of WA and DEA with full prescriptive authority
· Minimum one-year Pulmonary experience with preference for both Pulmonary and Sleep Disorders
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience diagnosing and managing sleep disorders
Multiple years' experience in Pulmonology

Base Salary: $135,000 - $150,000
