About The Role

Mochi Medical, originally founded as an obesity management practice, is expanding its virtual care model beyond weight management. We’re looking for licensed nurse practitioners who are committed to delivering high-quality, accessible, and affordable care across a growing range of specialties. While obesity and metabolic health remain core areas of focus, our providers also support patients in areas such as dermatology, hormone replacement therapy, depression & anxiety, and hair loss.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct virtual visits for adults with acute, chronic, and complex medical conditions.
  • Provide ongoing obesity and metabolic health management, including GLP-1s and related treatments.
  • Deliver patient care in expanding domains such as dermatology, hormone replacement therapy, depression and anxiety, and hair loss management.
  • Work closely with Mochi’s multidisciplinary care team to coordinate patient care.
  • Use cost-conscious prescribing practices, offering compounded and generic options when appropriate.
  • Participate in continuing education through our optional monthly academic lecture series.

Who You Are

  • Licensed nurse practitioner, ability to practice autonomously in at least 1 state.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in adult primary or specialty care.
  • Telemedicine experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with or interest in obesity medicine and emerging treatment areas (dermatology, HRT, mental health, hair loss, longevity) is a plus.

Why Mochi Medical?

At Mochi Medical, we are redefining internal medicine and specialty care through technology-driven, patient-first solutions. By joining our team, you will:

  • Enjoy full malpractice coverage.
  • Have complete control over your schedule with 24/7 flexible hours.
  • Utilize advanced tools like our custom-built EMR and obesity-specific protocols.
  • Benefit from a support team handling lab testing, prior authorizations, and customer service.
  • Access ongoing professional development through our optional academic lecture series.

Compensation Model

Nurse Practitioners are compensated under a visit-based, fee-for-service model.

  • Synchronous visits: up to $90 per hour
  • Asynchronous Care: $5-12 per patient per month

Full terms are set out in your Professional Services Agreement and Compensation Model, which we'll walk through during onboarding.

Employer

Mochi Health

Mochi was founded in San Francisco with a vision to make healthcare feel more accessible, human and designed around real life. It began as a digital obesity medicine practice and has grown into a comprehensive virtual care platform, combining technology, medical expertise and long-term guidance to deliver personalized care to patients nationwide — with more than 500,000 patients on the platform.

Care is delivered by Mochi Medical, a physician-owned professional practice, with administrative, technology and operational support from Mochi Health Corp. Mochi Medical's network of board-certified physicians, nurse practitioners, registered dietitians and health coaches provides personalized, judgment-free care across obesity and metabolic health (including GLP-1 therapy), dermatology, hormone replacement therapy, mental health, hair loss, longevity and more. Every treatment plan is reviewed by a licensed provider who understands the patient's health history and long-term goals — personalized, not protocol.

Providers practice fully remotely with complete control over their schedules. Mochi Medical includes malpractice coverage, a custom-built, AI-enabled EMR with obesity-specific protocols, and a support team that handles lab testing, prior authorizations, compliance documentation and customer service, so clinicians can focus on patient care. Providers also have access to an optional monthly academic lecture series for ongoing professional development.

Mochi is headquartered in the heart of San Francisco's SoMa neighborhood, with patients and providers across the United States.
