Inspire Health
Inspire Health Medical Group (Central California Faculty Medical Group) is the faculty medical group of UCSF Fresno and one of the largest multispecialty medical groups in California's Central Valley. More than 300 physicians and 90 advanced practice providers practice across more than 85 medical specialties and subspecialties, caring for patients throughout Fresno, Clovis and the surrounding region while teaching the next generation of physicians.
Inspire Health physicians serve as UCSF Fresno faculty, practicing and teaching students, residents and fellows at Community Regional Medical Center — the only Level 1 Trauma Center and Burn Center serving multiple counties in Central California — as well as Clovis Community Medical Center, community behavioral health programs and Inspire Health's own outpatient practices. UCSF Fresno is home to residency and fellowship programs in all the major medical specialties, including an emergency medicine residency founded in 1974, giving clinicians the opportunity to combine patient care with teaching, research and leadership in an academic environment that still feels like a community.
Providers enjoy competitive compensation, full benefits including 401(k) match, paid time off, malpractice coverage and CME allowances, along with relocation assistance for many positions.
Fresno offers a relatively low cost of living compared with many other California cities, culturally vibrant and diverse communities, excellent schools, and year-round sunshine. It is the only major city in the country close to three national parks — Yosemite, Sequoia and Kings Canyon — with the Sierra Nevada about an hour away, the Central Coast within two and a half hours, and convenient access to San Francisco, Los Angeles and Sacramento.
