Overview:
Sentara Medical Group has a full-time opening for an APP (NP or PA) to join Sentara Palmyra Medical Associates in Charlottesville, VA. In this full-time outpatient role, you’ll care for a diverse patient population across all ages while working alongside experienced physicians and supportive staff who are committed to delivering high-quality, community-focused care.
Position Highlights:
- Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
- 40 hours a week (36 patient contact hours, 4 hours of admin)
- 14-16 patients/day
- Collaborative practice with 3 physicians, 1 nurse practitioner, and 10 support staff
- A dedicated mentor assigned, who provides ongoing guidance and practical support, ensuring a smooth and successful transition into practice
- Minimal Call schedule – every 8-12 weeks – 24-7 nurse triage team used first

Minimum Requirements:
- Active NP or PA
- Master's Degree required

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $121,596.80 - $142,792.00 annually. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. Note: If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.
