Position Summary:
Little Company of Mary Medical Center is seeking a highly motivated and clinically skilled Interventional Radiology APP to join its advanced imaging and procedural team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, patient-centered environment supporting a wide range of minimally invasive, image-guided procedures.
The APP will partner closely with interventional radiologists and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care across inpatient and outpatient settings.
Job Specifics
- Conduct detailed patient evaluations including history, physical exams, and risk assessments
- Provide pre-procedure and post-procedure care and patient education
- Assist in and perform image-guided procedures including:
- Central line placements
- Paracentesis and thoracentesis
- Biopsies and drain placements
- Vascular access procedures
- General Biopsies
- Lumbar puncture
- Monitor patients during procedures and manage complications when necessary
- Interpret lab results and imaging findings in collaboration with radiologists
- Develop and execute individualized treatment plans
- Document care thoroughly in the EMR
- Communicate effectively with referring providers, nursing staff, and specialists
