Summary
As an Advanced Practice Practitioner treating patients with Addiction Recovery Services, you will work with a team of physicians, APPs and nurses and collaborate frequently with therapists to provide medical and addiction treatment to a diverse population. At Rochester Regional, you will have a wide range of practice opportunities at multiple locations with in-person and remote opportunities. Our team meets weekly and supports each other daily. What You'll Do
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients receiving addiction recovery services
- Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patients' conditions and progress
- Prescribe medications and manage orders as clinically appropriate
- Collaborate closely with physicians, APPs, nurses, therapists, and other members of the care team
- Provide compassionate, trauma-informed care while educating and supporting patients throughout recovery
- Maintain thorough, timely, and accurate clinical documentation
What You'll Bring
- One year of experience in chemical dependency, primary care, or hospital medicine preferred
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach with an interest in supporting individuals through recovery
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with patients and colleagues
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative, multidisciplinary team
