The MUSC flagship campus in Charleston, SC, has additional treatment modalities and technical expertise to fully support the practice in Murrells Inlet. The Charleston campus and nearby Mt. Pleasant satellite host three Varian TrueBeam accelerators, GammaKnife, and a new Radixact tomotherapy unit as well as two CT/Simulators, multiple treatment planning platforms, and strong LDR and HDR brachytherapy programs. The department supports an ACGME-accredited residency program for physicians and a CAMPEP-accredited residency program for physicists. The physician would be afforded the opportunities for career advancement.

Surrounded by Huntington Beach State Park and Litchfield Beach to the south, and Surfside Beach and Myrtle Beach to the north, Murrells Inlet is a beach-lover’s paradise.
