Calvert Internal Medicine Group, a physician-led practice serving Southern Maryland for more than 40 years, is hiring an outpatient Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician.
The Opportunity
- 22 to 30 patients per day with strong APP support and in-house specialists
- Potential positions also available in Prince Frederick, MD
- Guaranteed base salary of $160,000 - $200,000 for up to two years, then production pay projected at $250,000 - $280,000
- $15,000 sign-on bonus
- Locations are near CalvertHealth Medical Center, a CMS 5-star hospital
- 45 minutes from Washington, DC and 30 minutes from Annapolis, with Reagan National and BWI nearby
About the Practice
The group brings primary care and specialty care under one roof, with in-house cardiology, endocrinology, GI, nephrology, pulmonology, infectious disease, allergy and behavioral health. An in-house lab, same-day visits, telehealth, and evening and Saturday hours make it easy to give patients complete, connected care.
Calvert Internal Medicine Group is provider-owned and a Patient Centered Medical Home (NCQA-PCMH Level III recognized) with a fully integrated EMR, and its providers have a 95% patient satisfaction rating. Every practitioner is board certified or board eligible.
Compensation
Years 1 and 2 carry a guaranteed base salary of $160,000 - $200,000, based on experience and qualifications. Beginning in year 3, compensation moves to a production-based model with projected earnings of $250,000 - $280,000. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is included, repayable if employment is terminated for cause within the first 12 to 24 months.
Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Active or obtainable Maryland medical license and DEA
