knownwell is weight-inclusive healthcare for all. Its clinicians deliver comprehensive, evidence-based obesity medicine alongside primary care, nutrition counseling and health coaching, without judgment and without shame.

Patients see a collaborative team of physicians, advanced practice clinicians, registered dietitians, registered nurses, pharmacist clinicians and health coaches. Care combines in-clinic visits with virtual care, so support reaches patients where and when they need it. knownwell treats obesity and related conditions such as type 2 diabetes, hypertension and dyslipidemia, including care with anti-obesity medications like GLP-1s.

knownwell was co-founded by Brooke Boyarsky Pratt and Dr. Angela Fitch, a past president of the Obesity Medicine Association, who serves as Chief Medical Officer. It has clinics in Massachusetts, Georgia, Illinois, New York, Texas and California, plus nationwide virtual care.

Backed by $50 million in funding, including a $25 million round led by CVS Health Ventures with a16z Bio + Health, Flare Capital, MassMutual and Intermountain Ventures, knownwell is scaling fast to expand access to obesity care nationwide.

Clinicians work Monday through Friday in a hybrid model with phone-only call and 24/7 physician backup. Benefits include medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) with company match, up to 20 days of PTO plus holidays, and up to 14 weeks of parental leave.
