We provide high-quality, cost-effective care to more than 33,000 people throughout Caledonia and southern Essex Counties, and to the many who enjoy the region's scenic, historic and recreational opportunities year-round.

Our rural health system includes a 25-bed critical access hospital, primary care practices (Corner Medical, Kingdom Internal Medicine and St. Johnsbury Pediatrics), specialty and surgical services, a birth center (NVRH is one of only two Vermont hospitals designated Baby-Friendly), and a 24-hour, physician-staffed emergency department. Our West Wing expansion, the largest facility upgrade since the hospital opened, has brought a new, state-of-the-art Emergency Department.
