For over 50 years, Northwest Human Services has been helping people in Marion and Polk counties stay healthy and supported. We provide medical, dental, mental health, and social services.

We believe everyone deserves care, regardless of their financial situation. That’s why we provide services on a sliding fee scale based on family size and income, ensuring no one is turned away due to cost.

Our HOST and HOAP programs help homeless young adults (18-24 years old) and adults with basic needs, peer support, and health care. We have an open-door policy, which means no matter which door you walk through, we are here to help. Our team works together to provide wrap-around services, supporting you in every way we can.

The 988 Mental Health and Suicide Helpline is available 24/7, every day of the year. If you or someone you know is experiencing a mental health crisis, we are here to listen and offer support. Additionally, we provide an Emergency Financial Assistance program to assist individuals facing eviction, utility shutoffs, or other urgent challenges that may impact their health and well-being.
