Omni Family Health began in 1978, when a small group of community members in rural Buttonwillow, in Kern County, California, worked together to open a one-room health center. Today Omni is a Federally Qualified Health Center with around 40 health centers across California's Central Valley, caring for more than 130,000 patients each year in Kern, Kings, Tulare and Fresno counties. Its mission is "to improve the health of our communities by providing the highest quality healthcare to everyone."

Omni offers comprehensive, patient-centered care under one roof: family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, women's health and OB/GYN, dental, behavioral health, pharmacy, chiropractic, optometry and specialty services, along with walk-in care, telehealth and a mobile health center. Omni is accredited by The Joint Commission as a Patient-Centered Health Home, has received yearly HRSA Quality Improvement Awards and NACHC's Migrant Health Center of the Year award, and earned a perfect score on its 2021 HRSA Operational Site Visit.

More than 200 Omni providers practice with the support of over 1,000 team members.
